                  there's a tradeoff here.

pgornicz and Chani prefer python but have more experience with java
yulia prefers c++, java is rusty

<saengels> Well, my original approach was to have all of you working on different components from the same client. But I'm flexible,
                 and if you'd like to work on two separate clients and pit them against each other throughout the term, I'm cool with that :)

19:14 < abc123_> Knowing a bit about soccer will help, but only a couple of guys in the last project really knew much about the game.

19:15 < abc123_> I think you probably could cheat with extra comms channels in our environment, but I think the competitions enforce the rules very strictly.

 < abc123_> I would aim to arrive for the code sprint well-versed in what's there now and with a bunch of suggested improvements. Then you can spend the
                 Friday discussing what seem like the best things to tackle, and then the rest of the weekend trying to get started on them.

19:49 < abc123_> I think that you'll have to submit a final project report. Probably about 10-15 pages in length.
