so I was sitting in the bathroom, having nothing better to do than stare at toilet rolls for a minute, and got to wondering about why, when you arrange a bunch of cylindrical objects aroud one in a sort of flower pattern, they always fit best with six around the center, instead of five or seven. I ended up drawing a little diagram, and as soon as I connected up the centres of the circles, it all made sense. math shows up in the strangest of places... :)<br>
I haven't really done much this week. just spending time on the computer, occasionally getting little things done. my stomach seems happier now, thank goodness, although I still feel sick of all the cafeteria food. such a shame - it's nice food, I just can't stnd to eat it now. maybe if I avoid it for a while I'll stop being sick of it.<br>
